In all stories, Loki and his pack live on an Earth about 2000 years in the future. An outbreak has happened with a specific disease that targets all life, accidentally released from an American lab. This disease infected anybody without immediate protection [gas masks or clean air] and ran rampant for about ten years. Everyone who was infected died; except a few who proved semi-immune to the fatal ending to it, which includes Loki. Although he has not died, he shows specific symptoms of the disease including freely shapeshifting and having a power range. Anyone who is infected with have a paler pupil and eye whites that are bright toxic yellow. All members of his pack wear a ribbon of different color, reminding them of something they either lost, or fight for even now.

alias: Loki.
pronounced: [low-key].
gender: Male.

mate: None.
offspring: None.
forms: Shapeshifter [quad, anthro, human].
species: German Shepherd x Wolf mutt.

accessories: His gas mask. Although Loki has far since been infected by the spreading disease, he must still wear a gas mask to survive in the open air. In places that are still considered 'clean', he may take it off, although most of the time he doesn't; his eyes make others openly nervous. His only other accessory is the green ribbon he wears around his high foreleg, which means something dear and near to him. He never, ever, takes it off, and will sacrifice more to get it back if he loses it.

personality:
Loki is not merely named so because of the infamous connection with the trickster god; he is the trickster god. He exists in this mortal realm merely because the Norse gods and goddesses finally grew frustrated enough of him to banish him there.
But even admist the dull minds of humans, Loki thrives. His energectic attitude disallows any to grow weary in his presence, almost as though he gives off a glowing life force himself. Even before the nuclear fallout he was beginning to show symptoms of the disease that ran howling through the streets; clever hallucinations, confusing nightmares, irksome prophecies. His irises changed color when he was officially infected and although the symptoms got a little more tolerable as time went on, they have not fully faded.
Even now, living in a world devoid of mostly anything considered "happy", Loki can find entertainment in the smallest of things. He has an imagination that stretches further than one can even imagine, and it engulfs all that stand around him; so that Loki's presence is begged for in the bomb shelters where the humans still thrive for he brings light to chase away their shadows.
His childish nature has deprived him of mostly anything considered lovers, although Loki has had many an offer. In truth, he fears commitment; he's afraid to grow attached to somebody else and watch them wilt away, whether infected somehow from himself or from the world's dying.
Possessing the attention span of a dead gnat, he is easily distracted and will catch and pause to look at the smallest and most innocent of things. Because his hallucinations are very common, he has developed a catch phrase to ask people when they're around him and he cannot decide if something is real or not. He will turn to them, describe what he sees, and ask, "Fact or fake?" And they will murmur their replies. This tiny response has kept him sane for far longer then those others infected who have to deal with the delusions on their own. Knowing something is not real makes it much less scary then being fearful that it might be.
likes: Crowds, other people, laziness, brightness, sunshine, happy attitudes, laughter, giggling, jokes, amusement, pleasing others, meeting new friends, making new friends, shapeshifting, traveling the world to help brighten people's days.
dislikes: The disease, the depression of the people, his fellow Norse gods and goddesses, being deprived of something he wants, hallucinations, nightmares, loneliness, solitude at all, having to say fact or fake.
