Here resides a special breed of wolves... known as the Colored Ones, they are a highly endangered species and can only be found in one of the main colors in rainbows [red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet]. They are incapable of reproducing with normal wolves, thus the reason for their diminishing population.
The Colored Ones are easy to recognize due to their monochromatic eyes [silver, white, black, gray] and the base coat color. Males are a single color with white markings somewhere and elegant markings in a darker shade of their original; females are the opposite, being a single color with black markings somewhere and eloquent markings in a darker shade then their base color. All also have names from a Gaelic origin and are fluent in the language since birth.
Colored Ones must be accompanied by another, as they will literally die of loneliness within a few months; they are happiest and healthiest when found in a pack of seven, consisting of the entire rainbow set, as this pack demonstrates. Within a pack, they follow a specific set of ranks, although all are flexible and breeding is not discouraged between ranks such as it is within a normal wolf pack. This is possibly the last pack of Colored Ones in existence.
Perhaps there is enough time to find out about their behavior and temperament and uncover more, but the years are wearing thin and the Colored Ones grow weary of their existence in this battered world.

Demonstrated by his name, Faolan is not a courageous male. He's not technically a coward; he merely just doesn't go out of his way to make himself seem brave. In fact, he keeps to himself a lot; he has earned the reward of being the Seer, and so he is caught in daydreams quite often, finding omens in the scattered scars above and in the ripples of a normally still pond.
Due to this, Faolan has been branded as being rather forgetful; which he rather is, but more so is he easily distracted. He has passion for his work however, and becomes inspired when he thinks he has found a good sign; which he promptly shares with the pack and encourages them all to rejoice in it too.
Oddly enough, when most Seers are only capable to do their job for a few years and are then replaced by the next generation, Faolan was been the Seer since he was merely a young pup. He loves his work; and he is quite good at it. Most Seers will lose their sanity in this constant pressure to find things either good, or bad, but Faolan has a calm head and never even loses his temperament; in fact, the alpha jokes around with him not even having a temperament at all.
